Albacete Balompié has become the first team playing in La Liga 2 to start using SkillCorner data to support their decision-making in scouting and recruitment.
The deal gives Albacete access to physical and benchmarking data from a number of competitions, and they will be the first club to have data from the Primera RFEF (the third tier of Spanish football).
Commenting on the value SkillCorner’s data will bring to the club, Alfonso Serrano, Sporting Director at Albacete Balompié, said:
“We are always trying to innovate in our scouting and recruitment processes and I believe that having access to this data will help us to become more efficient at identifying and benchmarking our recruitment targets, leading to more effective decisions.”
Andy Martinez, Business Development Manager at SkillCorner, said:
“Physical data has become a ‘must-have’ for football clubs of all sizes to enable efficient scouting and benchmarking of players. We are really pleased to welcome Albacete Balombié as our latest client in Spain, and the first from La Liga 2.”
