SkillCorner achieves FIFA Quality Programme certification for Electronic Performance and Tracking Systems
● SkillCorner’s single-camera tracking technology validated by the FIFA Quality Programme
● Recognition of SkillCorner delivering high levels of accurate and trusted data
Following a rigorous testing process, SkillCorner’s single-camera tracking technology has achieved a place on the FIFA Quality Programme for Electronic Performance and Tracking Systems (EPTS), achieving the 'FIFA Basic’ mark associated with broadcast tracking.
The FIFA Quality Programme, run by football’s world governing body, is an internationally recognised standard for quality and reliability in the areas where it matters most: the equipment, surface, technology and services used for the game.
The FIFA Quality Programme for EPTS specifically aims to ensure and improve the quality of tracking systems used in Official Matches and tournaments throughout the world.
SkillCorner’s technology, which uses broadcast or tactical video to track and predict the position of all players on the pitch, has achieved the ‘FIFA Basic’ certification following a rigorous process of data testing and benchmarking.
Paul Neilson, General Manager of SkillCorner, commented:
“This is an important validation of the reliability and accuracy of SkillCorner data from the game’s global governing body, and we are delighted to achieve this FIFA certification. Through our unique technology, SkillCorner can deliver tracking data and performance insights at scale, and is now being used by over 150 clubs, leagues and federations worldwide to support scouting, recruitment, player development and match analysis.”
