FK Haugesund becomes the first club in Norway to use SkillCorner's physical and Game Intelligence data.

FK Haugesund from the Norwegian Eliteserien has signed a three-year deal to become the first team in Norway to use SkillCorner data to support its scouting and recruitment process.

By having access to physical and Game Intelligence data from multiple leagues, FKH will be able to identify, benchmark and compare scouting targets from across Europe and beyond, supporting better decision-making throughout the recruitment process.

Commenting on the value SkillCorner’s data will bring to the club, Eirik Opedal, Sporting Director at FK Haugesund, said:

“We have been interested in SkillCorner for some time, and I’m happy that we will now have access to data that can support our recruitment process and help us to identify players that will be a good fit for our team and our style of play.”

SkillCorner’s AI-powered technologies use broadcast video to deliver tracking, physical and tactical data from over 70 leagues and competitions across the world, without the need for fixed camera installations or wearable devices.

Game Intelligence takes football insight to a new level by combining tracking and event data to truly understand how each player affects the game over 90 minutes.

David Niehues, Business Development Manager at SkillCorner, said:

“More than 120 football clubs and federations around the world  are now using SkillCorner data to support their scouting and recruitment processes. It's excellent to have our very first client in Norway and we look forward to working closely with FK Haugesund over the years to come.”
