Club Atlético Talleres becomes the latest club in the Argentine Primera División to use SkillCorner data.
Club Atlético Talleres, the historic club from Córdoba playing in the Argentine Primera División, has signed a deal to use SkillCorner physical and Game Intelligence data to support the club’s scouting and match analysis functions.
Talleres becomes the latest club in Argentina to partner with SkillCorner, and the first to use the innovative Game Intelligence product, which provides contextual data and tactical insights into off-ball runs, passing execution and resisting pressure.
The deal with SkillCorner gives the scouting and analysis teams at Talleres access to physical and Game Intelligence data from a number of leagues in the region. This will allow the club to easily identify, benchmark and compare potential recruitment targets, as well as conduct opposition scouting, based on a range of physical metrics.
With Game Intelligence, Talleres will also be able to gain insight into an individual player’s off-ball run profile, their ability to identify and serve passing opportunities, and their ability to resist pressure while in possession of the ball. This can be invaluable information both for identifying potential synergies between recruitment targets and existing members of the squad, and for analysing the strengths and weaknesses of opposing players and teams.
Andrés Fassi, President of Club Atlético Talleres said:
“It is important to us to be innovative in how we approach things, and working with SkillCorner data is an excellent example of that. Having access to this data will be extremely valuable in helping our team to make the best decisions on player recruitment, but also for opposition analysis and strategy. We look forward to a long and productive partnership with SkillCorner.”
Pedro Nogueira, Business Development Manager at SkillCorner, said:
“We are very happy to be working with such a historic club as Talleres, and to add another Primera División club to our growing number of customers in Argentina. Clubs in Argentina are becoming more aware of the benefits of using data to support their decision-making, and Talleres has shown real innovation in becoming the first to use our Game Intelligence data, along with physical metrics.”
